Second in the series of International Workshops held by Dr. Chauhan on Microbial Genome Sequencing and Bioinformatics
The Chauhan lab welcomes Dr. Ayman Ewida, a visiting faculty from the National Water Research Center, Egypt.
Dr. Ewida is pursuing a 6-month training program on the biodegradation of two commonly occurring pesticides- Alachlor and Endosulfan, by environmental microbiota.
Special Lecture at the ICABS
Dr. Chauhan presented a special lecture at the International Conference on Advances in Biological Sciences (ICABS), which was organized by the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology and Inter University Centre for Biosciences, Kannur University during March 15-17, 2012 at, Kannur, India
Trophy of appreciation being presented to Dr. Chauhan by Dr. Arun Ninawe, Senior Adviser, DBT, Govt. of India. Dr. Chauhan’s talk was titled “Insights into the catabolic potential of Rhodococcus opacus strain M213 isolated from a fuel-oil contaminated soil in northern Idaho, USA”
